05:00Hellenic Train informs passengers that, starting Thursday, August 7, the transfer for the Bozaitika – Agios Andreas – are performed again at the Bozaitika station, instead of the Agyia station, as the construction work of the Municipality of Patras in the area of the Bozaitika station has been completed. Specifically, buses run on the route Rio-Kastelokampos-Bozaitika and connect with the Suburban Railway services that serve the Bozaitika-Agios Andreas line and vice versa.

05:00Hellenic Train informs passengers that, from Monday, 15/09/2025, modifications and suspensions of services will be carried out on the Athens-Thessaloniki -Athens intercity route, as well as on certain local and suburban routes of the network, due to extensive railway infrastructure upgrade works carried out by the Infrastructure Manager “OSE-Railways of Greece,” as well as traffic restrictions resulting from the above works. Specifically, from Monday, 15/09/ 2025, Intercity trains 52, 53, 54, and 55 on the Athens-Thessaloniki-Athens route will be suspended. To serve passengers on the Athens-Thessaloniki-Athens route, two pairs of trains will run in each direction as follows: - From Athens to Thessaloniki, Intercity trains 50 will depart at 06:58 and Intercity 56 at 17:58. - From Thessaloniki to Athens, Intercity 51 will depart at 05:55 and Intercity 57 at 16:49..Route changes and suspensions due to construction work from 15/09/2025. From Monday, September 15, 2025, there will also be some route changes on the following sections of the network: - Thessaloniki-Larissa-Thessaloniki - Thessaloniki-Edessa/Florina-Thessaloniki - Athens-Lianokladi-Athens - Larissa-Volos-Larissa - Lianokladi-Lamia-Stylida-Tithorea - Paleofarsalos-Kalambaka-Paleofarsalos More information about the routes of the above lines, which will be modified from Monday, September 15, 2025, will soon be available at www.hellenictrain.gr For passengers who have purchased tickets for routes that are being canceled or modified, the following applies: For tickets • For tickets issued by ticket offices and paid for in cash, compensation will only be paid by active ticket offices. • Holders of tickets purchased with a debit/credit card, regardless of the sales channel (ticket offices, web ticketing & app), can: - Send a request to Hellenic Train via the contact and suggestions form (https://www.hellenictrain.gr/ forma-epikoinonias-upodeixeon) with the ticket number, if it is electronic, or attach a PDF of the ticket or a clear photo if it is from a ticket office. The amount will be refunded to the card used for the purchase. - Alternatively, they can contact any active ticket office for compensation.• Finally, passengers can change their ticket free of charge, i.e. the date and time of travel (for the same route) and be served by another route. Registered users Users registered with the Hellenic Train app can change their travel date and time and be served by another route, making the relevant changes themselves and free of charge. This option is available in the ticket management section of the “My Trips” menu. Please note that information on the operation of routes will soon be available on the website www.hellenictrain.gr and in the “Travel Information” section.
