05:00Hellenic Train informs the passenger public that, from Saturday, 22/11/ 2025, new timetables will come into effect across the entire Athens Suburban Railway network (to Kiato/Aegio, Airport, and Chalkida). In general, new timetables will be introduced on the following routes: Piraeus - Airport. Piraeus - Kiato. Athens - Afidnae - Oinoe- Chalkida. Ano Liossia - Airport - Ano Liossia. Kiato - Aegio. With the new route network, local routes on the Ano Liossia - Kantza line will be extended to the Airport, while on the Airport - Metamorfosis, from Monday to Friday, the itineraries will be operated every 20 minutes. This change ensures more departures and arrivals at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" and better service frequency in the northern section of the Suburban Railway. This will give passengers more travel options, shorter waiting times, and easier connections to and from the center of Athens, Piraeus, and Kiato, with transfers now taking place at Ano Liossia station instead of Kato Acharnae station.

05:00New routes Thessaloniki - Sindos - Thessaloniki from Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Hellenic Train and OSE - Greek Railways are bringing Thessaloniki and Sindos even closer together, strengthening the rail connection with a new, fast, and affordable service that covers the route in just 11 minutes. From Wednesday, November 19, 2025, six new routes in each direction will be added to the existing 11 between Thessaloniki and Sindos, bringing the total to 17 daily routes. The routes will run from Monday to Friday, but not on weekends, national holidays, or academic holidays. It should be noted that the 11 current routes will continue to operate every day of the week. This new service greatly facilitates the movement of students and workers in the area, as there is a connection with OASTH buses from the Sindos station, which provides easy access to the International University of Greece and the industrial facilities of the wider area. Ticket prices Full ticket: €1.00 50% discount: €0.50 25% discount: €0.80 Return ticket: €1.60 Tickets are available through the Hellenic Train website and app, as well as from the ticket office at Thessaloniki Railway Station. The Kaminia - Kato Achaia - Kaminia route continue to be performed by bus. 05:00Hellenic Train informs the passenger public that with effect from Saturday 18/10/2025, the afternoon itineraries of the Odontotos Railway are suspended [1336 Diakopto – Kalavryta (15:07) and 1337 Kalavryta – Diakopto (16:25)]. With the introduction of the new schedule, the itineraries of the Odontotos Railway run exclusively in the morning and at noon, so that they are completed before sunset.
