Hellenic Train informs the passenger public that, from Saturday, 22/11/ 2025, new timetables will come into effect across the entire Athens Suburban Railway network (to Kiato/Aegio, Airport, and Chalkida). In general, new timetables will be introduced on the following routes: Piraeus - Airport. Piraeus - Kiato. Athens - Afidnae - Oinoe- Chalkida. Ano Liossia - Airport - Ano Liossia. Kiato - Aegio. With the new route network, local routes on the Ano Liossia - Kantza line will be extended to the Airport, while on the Airport - Metamorfosis, from Monday to Friday, the itineraries will be operated every 20 minutes. This change ensures more departures and arrivals at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" and better service frequency in the northern section of the Suburban Railway. This will give passengers more travel options, shorter waiting times, and easier connections to and from the center of Athens, Piraeus, and Kiato, with transfers now taking place at Ano Liossia station instead of Kato Acharnae station.

Hellenic Train informs the passenger public that, with effect from Saturday 29/11/2025, a new departure time is going to apply for train 1301 : Kiato-Piraeus, as part of the overall restructuring of suburban train schedules and efforts to provide more stable, consistent, and passenger-friendly daily transportation. Train 1301 will now depart at 05:28, instead of the previous time of 04:39, with station of Piraeus as its final destination, a change implemented with the aim of better serving workers and optimizing morning routes, according to data from the initial implementation of the new network. Hellenic Train informs the passenger public that, starting from Friday, 28/11/2025 and until further notice,WITH EFFECT FOR EVERY DAY EXCEPT SATURDAY, the following itineraries on the route Piraeus - Kiato is going to terminate at Zevgolatio station instead of Kiato station, due to technical works carried out by the Infrastructure Manager HRO - Hellenic Railways. 2302: Piraeus - Kiato with departure time 21:14 and 2304: Piraeus - Kiato with departure time 22:14. For the convenience of passengers, the section Zevgolatio-Kiato of itinerary 2302 is going to be served by transferring passengers to another train, while the corresponding section of itinerary 2304 is going to serve by buses of Hellenic Train.
