ANNOUNCEMENT 14/09/2023 - Restoration of the 882 and 887 routes from 15.09.2023 (with bus connection on the section Lianokladi - Kalambaka)

Hellenic Train informs that, from Friday 15 September 2023, the trains 882 and 887 (Athens-Kalambaka-Athens) will operate again.

In particular, the route 882 (departure time 08:28 from Larissa Station) will be operated by train on the route Athens - Leianokladi. Subsequently, passengers will be served by buses from Leionokladi to Kalambaka with intermediate stops in Karditsa and Trikala.

Similarly, route 887 (departure time 16:58) will be operated by bus from Kalambaka to Leianokladi SS, with stops in Trikala and Karditsa and then transfer to a train to Athens.

It is recalled that the section Lianakladi - Kalambaka - Lianokladi is served by bus due to the problems created in the railway network because of the flooding.
