10% Discount on the Athens – Thessaloniki Line

The 10% discount applies to full-fare, one-way tickets in both A’ and B’ Class, for trips operated by IC (InterCity) trains on the Athens – Thessaloniki line and all intermediate stations, from May 17, 2025, to June 30, 2025, for trips on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Tickets may be purchased through the following sales channels:

  • Via the official website www.hellenictrain.gr, by selecting the “Full Price Promo 10% off” offer.

  • Via the Hellenic Train mobile app, by selecting the “Full Price Promo 10% off” offer.

  • Via the Call Center at 14511 (charges are applied per second, with a minimum charge for the first minute of conversation).

The 10% discount can be combined only with the early booking discount and not with other discounts.

If a passenger wishes to change the travel date of a ticket purchased with the 10% discount to a day when the discount is not applicable, the passenger will be charged with the price difference.

If a passenger wishes to change the travel date of a full-fare ticket to a day when the 10% discount is available, the passenger will be refunded with the price difference.

Refunds are allowed for tickets purchased with the 10% discount, in accordance with the Hellenic Train Passenger Terms and Conditions
