TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF GIFT CARD

Read the terms and conditions of use of the Gift Card

  • The Gift Card can be purchased on this site in 4 values of 25€, 50€, 100€ και 150€.
  • The Gift Card is associated with a code (consisting of a Gift Card Code and Anti-fraud Code for a total of 19 alphanumeric digits) which can be used to buy Hellenic Train tickets and multy- journey cards from the main Hellenic Train sales channels.
  • The Gift Card cannot be used for buying tickets on board. Using Hellenic Train Gift Card during the payment, all 19 digits (including zeros) must be entered, paying attention to upper case and/or lower case.
  • The Gift Card is not nominative.
  • The payment with the use of a Gift Card is added to the forms of payment currently envisaged for buying tickets or multy -journey cards.
  • The credit is scalable, is valid for 10 years from the time of issue/purchase and can be used in combination with other methods of payment (e.g. cash, credit card, etc.). 
  • The Gift Card is not for sale and is not redeemable in cash. In the case of theft or loss, issue/recovery of the code is not possible.
  • The ticket purchased using a Gift Card follows the rules envisaged for the type of ticket chosen. The customer retains the right to use the amount paid with the Gift Card also in the case of change ticket, refund, and access to other trains. It should be noted that in the case of refund, the amount due (less any deductions) will be automatically credited by the system to the Gift Card originally used.
