Due to the 24-hour general strike announced by GSEE for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 20, significant cancellations and modifications to railway routes are expected. Passengers should be informed through Hellenic Train's website, while there will also be continuous updates on the company's official social media channels.

For tickets of canceled routes, the following applies:

• Tickets issued from ticket offices and paid in cash are refunded at full price only at ticket offices.

• Ticket holders who purchased tickets with a card, regardless of the sales channel (ticket offices, web ticketing, & app), can:
  • either send a written request to the company through the complaints/requests form with the ticket number, if it's electronic, or attach the PDF of the ticket or a clear photo if it's from a ticket office, requesting a refund, which will be credited back to the card used for the purchase,
  • or go to a station's ticket office for a ticket refund.

• Finally, passengers have the option to change their ticket, meaning the travel date and time (for the same route), free of charge.
