Hellenic Train, informs the passengers that an article published in larissanet.gr of Larissa, in relation to the current movement of passenger trains has nothing to do with reality.

Train 11599, arrived at Larissa Railway Station and disembarked passengers in order to double coupling with train DZR 460.103-203, in order to transfer, without passengers, from Larissa to Thessaloniki. The coupling of the trains was not completed for technical reasons and finally the train DZR 460.103-203 left for Thessaloniki.

The coupling of trains is standard operational practice whenever required. Any attempt to link this standard operating procedure with scenarios where passenger safety is at risk is completely unfounded.

Hellenic Train reserves all its legal rights and has already informed the media in order to restore the accuracy of the report it quotes
