Patras Suburban Railway Traffic Changes

Athens, 26 August 2026 – Hellenic Train informs passengers that, due to works on the railway network being carried out by the Infrastructure Manager, Sidirodromoi Ellados (OSE), rail traffic on the Patras – Kaminia – Patras section of the Patras Suburban Railway will be suspended from 27 August through 24 September 2026.

To facilitate passenger travel during this period, replacement buses will operate in place of rail services on the Patras – Tsoukaleika – Patras section.

Please note that at Tsoukaleika Station, passengers will also be able to transfer to buses serving Kaminia and Kato Achaia.

More specifically, buses will operate on the Patras – Tsoukaleika – Patras route and will connect with suburban rail services operating on the Patras – Rio – Patras line.

Hellenic Train is cooperating with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure the smooth management of these temporary traffic arrangements and thanks passengers for their understanding.
