Business Analyst-Sales
The Business Analyst – Sales supports the commercial and sales functions of the railway company by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights that drive revenue growth and improve sales performance. The role acts as a bridge between sales, finance, operations, and management, translating business needs into actionable analyses and decision-support tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, and customer data across railway services
- Support sales strategy development through market, customer, and competitor analysis
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, pricing optimization, and cost efficiency
- Support tendering and contract evaluation with financial and commercial analysis
- Develop and maintain sales KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations teams to align data and insights
- Analyze customer profitability and service performance
- Support business cases for new services, products, or commercial initiatives
